Before setting up my sales consulting agency, I was representing an industry-leading digital organization as a Business Development Executive. I was involved in some pretty exciting projects with major brands.

My role involved creating high-profile, mutually beneficial partnerships, and helping our partners win high-value projects with brands. 

But...sales careers don't start off that way!

Rewind to where it all began at my first role in a UK Top 100 Company back in 2008, where I conquered the cold calling, dealt with the phone slamming, and learned how to say the same thing with equal excitement more than 70 times per day! Entry-level sales jobs can be brutal! But that's where you earn your stripes.

Over 150,000 sales calls I've done myself, can you believe it!? I can't even put a number on how many I've listened to for training up new staff, but it's a lot!!!

A couple of promotions and some bigger sales targets later - I was well on my way up the ladder!

I later led teams of Senior Executives through multi-million dollar deals, hired and trained top-level consultants, and hit new sales records in multiple industries.

My sales career took me from Bristol in the UK, to the Gold Coast of Australia. My lastest role had me cover Asia too. I had a whole lot of fun living on the opposite end of the globe, transforming business relationships from zero value to multi-million dollar accounts. I closed one of my biggest ever deals In January 2020 with a major Enterprise Brand, that was an amazing day. 

But in February 2020, after 12 years of dedicated sales career building, I had a life-changing call regarding a family member in the UK. I made a quick decision and found myself leaving Australia, selling my car, moving out of my home. 

My stopover was In Bali, Indonesia, where the flights we all unexpectantly grounded, and that was where I was destined to remain while the pandemic unfolded. I always had aspirations to spend more time in a place like Bali, dreamt of it on many occasions, but this timing and circumstance was entirely unexpected. My family member recovered and I found myself in a new location in an unfamiliar situation.

During this time, my own performance coach asked for help with his sales, then before I knew it, others were asking too. So, my coaching and consulting business was born. 

It was crazy to me that business owners were using sleazy scripts and old-school sales tactics (that stopped working YEARS ago!). The information available to people who wanted to sell more of their services was fairly limited. This came as a great surprise to me. So I started teaching what I knew. 

Before I knew it, I started to see these self-motivated, driven and talented individuals start to win more clients and ultimately change more lives with their expertise and servicces. 

But in February 2020, after 12 years of dedicated sales career building, I left it all.

Most people said Rachel, you're crazy. 

But, at 31 years old, I found my passion. 

My own performance coach asked for help with his sales, then before I knew it, others were asking too. So, my coaching and consulting business was born. 

It was crazy to me that people were using sleazy scripts and old school sales tactics (that stopped working YEARS ago!) So I started teaching what I knew. 

Before I knew it, I had never felt more fulfilled, seeing these self-motivated, driven and talented individuals start to win more clients and ultimately change more lives with their expertise.
